Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Christ. Santa is proud to offer families the option of having a faith-based visit with Santa. Santa honors and respects diversities in faith and does not promote any specific religion. We can discuss in detail what you would like your Santa visit to look like before we book it. Below you will find some ideas and suggestions that may help you.

There are, of course, controversial aspect of the American Santa Claus myths. Some people believe Santa takes the focus of Christmas away from Jesus. One thing is for sure, Santa Doug does not want to be a part of the commercialization and consumerism that has seized the Christmas holiday in American? However, I believe that we do not need to get rid of Santa completely. Santa can embody Christian values such as kindness, generosity, forgiveness, and unmerited grace. While Santa is NOT a Christ figure - that must be clear - the Santa myth is NOT the problem. The problem is that we have let advertisers hijack Santa (and other Christmas symbols as well), turning Christmas into a retail event. I believe you can allow your children to embrace Santa while they are young can allow them to experience unmerited favor (grace). We can, as they grow, point to the experience in order to explain what it means to give and receive grace. One of the things you can do is to tell your children the stories of Saint Nicholas, someone who gives without expecting anything in return, and who loved children. Saint Nicholas secretly gave money to people who needed it. He also spent his life pointing to the redeemer Jesus Christ.

Christmas is the day we celebrate the birth of Jesus, who brought us the best gift of all: eternal life. And certainly, we need to tell our children first and foremost that Christmas celebrates the Son of God arriving to earth. But other Christmas traditions, - from the Christmas Tree, to turkey & ham dinner, parties, to Santa Claus - can also enrich and bless a family’s holiday. Some more idea that can be implemented...

At this special time of year, Santa is taking prayer requests from anyone who needs a touch from God. Santa knows that prayer is powerful and that God is able to do amazing things in response to our requests. Gospel tracts are a powerful tool for sharing the message of salvation with others. They are small, easy to read, and can be distributed to anyone, anywhere. Santa believes that it's important to share the good news of Jesus Christ with those around us, especially during the Christmas season when people are more open to spiritual conversations. Santa has a couple of good gospel tracts available that he can hand out and explain upon request. Some of the tracts focus on the true meaning of Christmas, while others explain the message of salvation in a clear and concise way. No matter which tract you choose, you can be sure that it will present the gospel message in a way that is both clear and biblically sound. Please note that there will be an additional fee for the cost of the tracts, and that ordering may take some time. He’s making a list, he’s checking it twice... he’s gonna find out who’s naughty or nice! If Santa used the Ten Commandments for his standard, how would you do? Let's find out... Have you ever lied? Have you ever stolen anything? (No matter the value.) Ever used God's name in vain? Ever hated anybody? The Bible says “Whoever hates his brother is a murderer” If you are guilty of these things, it shows that in your heart, you are a lying, thieving, blasphemous, murderer-at-heart. Many people don't know that God will use the Ten Commandments to judge the world. Forget about Santa for a moment... how will you do on Judgment Day? If you are found guilty, that means an eternity in Hell...

However, there’s GOOD NEWS! God made a way for sinners to be forgiven without violating justice. He took on flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. He lived the sinless life we couldn’t, and then offered Himself on the cross as a sacrifice for sin. Jesus took the wrath of the Father, then rose from the dead… showing the penalty fully paid! God commands you to repent and put your faith in Jesus alone for salvation. Cry out to God, confessing and forsaking your sins. Trust in what Jesus did for salvation, not in your own deeds. “And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.” (Luke 2:9-12)

Christ said, “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.”(John 3:17) Isn't that a great promise? It may not make complete sense, however until we know what we need to be saved from. You see, you and I would seem like good people in a human sense, however God has a higher standard: “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” (James 2:10) Have you kept God’s laws? Have you lied? Have you stolen anything? Ever hated anybody? The Bible says “Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer.” God is a Holy, perfect judge and says, “the soul that sins shall die.”

However, there is GOOD NEWS! About 2,000 years ago, God sent Jesus to the earth to pay the penalty for sin. Born of a virgin, he lived a sinless life. When Jesus died on the cross, He took the Father’s wrath, then defeated the power of sin and death when He rose from the dead. The Bible says, ”God commandeth all men everywhere to repent: because he hath appointed a day, in which he will judge the world in righteousness."
